Ursula Juffermans, owner of LOVE YOUR PET MINDING, is the 'horse whisperer' of the dog and cat world.
She understand pets, respects them, and has the knowledge and experience to deliver skillful and compassionate care that ensures your loved family member is content, pampered, exercised, healthy, beautifully groomed and comfortable in their 'home away from home'.
Ursula is compassionate and patient with animals, and she's had considerable personal success as a dog and cat trainer. Can you imagine the surprise of passers-by when Ursula takes her dogs, Bliss and Sugar plus the cat , Mr. Mist walking on leads. It's no easy feat to train cats to walk on leads, but with kindness and persistence, Ursula succeeded.
Ursula's love of animals led her to be a valued team member with VISPAT, run by Guide Dogs for the Blind. With VISPAT, Ursula visited in-patients in the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne, accompanying her beautifully-behaved companion dogs, Bliss and Sugar, who are quite spectacular Lhasa Apso girls. It's been shown that animal visitors provide a real boost to people in hospital - and Bliss and Sugar love giving cuddles and comfort to sick and sad people.
Until she went to pet's heaven, Champagne, Ursula's Maltese female, was something of TV Star! She spent a few weeks on location doing a TV soapie, appeared in a Jennings Builders ad, and also featured on billboards all over Melbourne - all by the time she was 12 months old! The Animal Casting Agent said they had never used such a young pooch - which just goes to show - Ursula's has very special skills with animals.
When Ursula decided to follow her passion and open her home to visiting pets,
she approached the responsibility with her usual careful planning and attention to detail.
Her goal was to deliver truly outstanding care to the beloved pets in her charge.
Travelling business people, pet-owners who are ill/in hospital, owners who can't take their pet on holidays - or
people who just need short-term crèche services, can rest easy in the knowledge that their loved furry family
member is receiving at the very least the level of care they give to their pet themselves.
